Excellent engineering. It’s was a simple bolt on hitch with no drilling or any headwork. I did have to temporarily remove a couple muffler hangers and the spare tire, it added a few minutes to the job. After I was done I realized the receiver Sat several inches below the rear bumper. Why? I have an XRT, the bumper is thinner and allows for a greater departure angle when off roading. I’ll be looking for a receiver that is better suited for my model.
Pleasantly surprised finding a tow hitch and a recommend installer for my 2025 Santa Cruz! Delivery was on time and made contact with the installer, all was E Z peasy. Just waiting on the OEM wire harness to schedule the hitch install. Plan to to take before and after pics.
Hitch arrived VERY FAST, and with all necessary accessories. Took about 2 hours to install with 2 people, as the hitch was heavy and awkward to hold in position while starting the bolts. Bolts were easy to access and tighten on driver side, however on passenger side, it was extremely difficult to hold wrench/socket to bolts so as to not round bolt heads when tightening. Hitch distance between frame member plates was slightly less than frame spacing. Recommend all bolts be very loosely installed and THEN passenger side bolts be fully tightened and torqued before tightening and torquing driver side bolts. I recommend the hitch support structure for passenger side bolts be trimmed back about 1/4 to 3/16" to allow socket to fully seat on bolt heads. This would then allow necessary extensions to be used to more easily tighten the bolts without the danger of rounding the bolt heads.
Everything was plug and play. No issues installing and the supplemental video was useful. Will buy again if needed
Easy ordering process and quick delivery. installation videos and instructions were all very good. I installed the hitch myself in about one hour. The quality of the hitch is excellent.
Great product! Fitment was perfect. Perhaps the absolute best part of buying this product was buying it through etrailer.com because the installation video was imperative to a flawless install.
Review for the Curt hitch and 4 plug wiring harness for a Hyundai Santa Cruz.
Both items were packaged very well and arrived crazy quick with no damage or missing parts. Included instructions were clear and easy to follow.
I put the vehicle rear wheels on a set of ramps which gave plenty of room to work inside my garage.
The only challenge I will mention is the install of the passenger side hitch bolts. The two side bolts are blocked almost completely by the hitch gusseting as well as the vehicle muffler. You will need a long extension and a wobble to tighten these bolts down. Honestly, if I had it to do over again I would save myself a lot of grief and just remove the muffler completely before I got started.
All in all, not too bad with the right tools and a positive attitude. The wiring is plug and play, and took just a few minutes. I tucked the lead behind the bumper, but if you plan to use the plug on a regular basis, don't forget to buy the bracket. It does not come with the hitch itself.
ETrailer is the only place I go for anything towing related. Great people!

Fit perfectly. As a 74 yr-young guy, it took me a while to get it installed, not because of the product, because of my inability to maneuver around under the truck. The videos really helped to give me confidence enough to tackle the job. 3-1/2 hrs in my driveway, with a lunch break in the middle and ibuprofen after. etrailer staff was great during and after the order.

Recently i got my self a 2024 santa cruz and it came with no Trailor hitch and of course the dealer wonted over a thousand dollars to in stall one, others a little less like u hall. so i went on the enter net and checked out etrailer as well as others and decided to buy there product with free shipping. fast shipping and thats important, and it arrived in three days. box took a little beating but the hitch was fine and i recommend padding the hitch ends as shippers as you know put all packages to the test. the hitch is very well made with strong iron and power coated nicely. i'm a eighty one year old man so it took me by my self about two and a half hours to complete the job enclouding the wiring harness. i'm pleased that i only see the hitch receiver and not all the hitch as that makes a good looking bumper as you see it from the rear. because i had no help to install the hitch i did employ a bottle jack to assist me during the installation and it all worked out quite well. pleased with the product but the photo helpers need to be cleared up for better visual . I did a great job with a good product to work with. If you need a hitch, give these people a try i think you will like what you get.

Looks to be very well made and should do a good job for my light duty towing. Came fast, albeit a day later than indicted when ordered. No biggie.
Nice finish, bolts and washers included. 3” extension will work on passenger side if you don’t have a flex coupling

That is definitely a feat in on it's self!
The installation was easy and quick
A total of 1.5 hours and that includes getting organized, doing the installation and clean up
The hitch is well made and well designed
The instructions and videos are clear and understandable

Quality of product appears excellent. Install was fairly straightforward. Recommend initially using exhaust to rest passenger side of receiver for fastener starting, before lowing exhaust to make room for torquing. Recommend a hitch riser to increase resultant height of tow ball.
It was perfect for my Hyundai Santa Cruz. Installed at myself in 25 minutes and needless to say it works perfectly. Very happy.
Product arrived quickly , fast and easy installation ,looks great on the new 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz now we are ready for towing the jet skis to the lake or the motorcycle trailer to the races .price was much cheaper than the Hyundai factory hitch if not same as or better quality .to install hitch , wiring ,ball mount took 45 min Will definitely tell my friends &family
